At 9:30 that night, when it reached 9 kilometers of Xiangshi Expressway, the front wheel of the truck suddenly burst, and the body immediately rolled over, slid forward 30 meters and then lay in the middle of the highway. The plastic bucket on the car cracked to the ground, and a large amount of dichloropropane liquid flowed outward. At the same time, the vehicle's fuel tank ruptured and gasoline overflowed.

After the accident, the highway patrol immediately closed the highway and asked the fire department for help. At 10 o'clock in the evening, the Xiangfan City Fire Detachment quickly mobilized three squadrons of Special Service, Xiangcheng, and Xiangyang to the scene.

11 o'clock, after dilution and washing with water, the danger on site was relieved.
